Interesting facts about chickpeas

While, reading some articles about protein sources from food, saw an interesting article which is all about chickpea's nutrition facts. Maybe its just me, I dont really know chickpeas also known as Garbanzo beans have such great nutrient rating.

Garbanzo beans/chickpeas have a delicious nutlike taste and buttery texture. They provide a good source of protein that can be enjoyed year-round and are available either dried or canned.

A very versatile legume, they are a noted ingredient in many Middle Eastern and Indian dishes such as hummus, falafels and curries. While many people think of garbanzos as being beige in color, there are varieties that feature black, green, red and brown beans.

Health Benefits

Garbanzos (also called chickpeas) are a good source of cholesterol-lowering fiber, as are most other beans. In addition to lowering cholesterol, garbanzos' high fiber content prevents blood sugar levels from rising too rapidly after a meal, making these beans an especially good choice for individuals with diabetes, insulin resistance or hypoglycemia. When combined with whole grains such as rice, garbanzos provide virtually fat-free high quality protein. But this is far from all garbanzos have to offer. Garbanzos are an excellent source of the trace mineral, molybdenum, an integral component of the enzyme sulfite oxidase, which is responsible for detoxifying sulfites. Sulfites are a type of preservative commonly added to prepared foods like delicatessen salads and salad bars. Persons who are sensitive to sulfites in these foods may experience rapid heartbeat, headache or disorientation if sulfites are unwittingly consumed. If you have ever reacted to sulfites, it may be because your molybdenum stores are insufficient to detoxify them.

A Fiber All Star

Check a chart of the fiber content in foods and you'll see legumes leading the pack. Garbanzos, like other beans, are rich in both soluble and insoluble dietary fiber. Soluble fiber forms a gel-like substance in the digestive tract that snares bile (which contains cholesterol)and ferries it out of the body. Research studies have shown that insoluble fiber not only helps to increase stool bulk and prevent constipation, but also helps prevent digestive disorders like irritable bowel syndrome and diverticulosis.

Lower Your Heart Attack Risk

In a study that examined food intake patterns and risk of death from coronary heart disease, researchers followed more than 16,000 middle-aged men in the U.S., Finland, The Netherlands, Italy, former Yugoslavia, Greece and Japan for 25 years. Typical food patterns were: higher consumption of dairy products in Northern Europe; higher consumption of meat in the U.S.; higher consumption of vegetables, legumes, fish, and wine in Southern Europe; and higher consumption of cereals, soy products, and fish in Japan. When researchers analyzed this data in relation to the risk of death from heart disease, they found that legumes were associated with a whopping 82% reduction in risk!

A study published in the Archives of Internal Medicine confirms that eating high fiber foods, such as garbanzo beans, helps prevent heart disease. Almost 10,000 American adults participated in this study and were followed for 19 years. People eating the most fiber, 21 grams per day, had 12% less coronary heart disease (CHD) and 11% less cardiovascular disease (CVD) compared to those eating the least, 5 grams daily. Those eating the most water-soluble dietary fiber fared even better with a 15% reduction in risk of CHD and a 10% risk reduction in CVD.

Garbanzo Beans Lower Cholesterol

Other research published in the Annals of Nutrition and Metabolism has shown that including garbanzo beans, specifically, in the diet significantly lowers both total and LDL "bad" cholesterol (Pittaway JK, Ahuga KD, et al.).

In this study, 47 adults participated in two eating plans of at least 5 weeks duration. Each food plan provided sufficient calories to maintain participants' weight, but one plan was supplemented with garbanzo beans and the other with wheat.

The garbanzo-supplemented diet, which provided slightly less protein and fat, and more carbohydrate than the wheat-supplemented diet, resulted in a significant 3.9% drop in total cholesterol, which was largely due to a 4.6% drop in LDL "bad" cholesterol. Practical Tip: Enjoyed regularly, garbanzo beans can help lower LDL "bad" cholesterol. Add garbanzos to tossed salads, enjoy them as a dip or spread in the form of hummus or baba ganoush, or let them take center stage as the main ingredient in a spicy curry.

Garbanzos' contribution to heart health lies not just in their fiber, but in the significant amounts of folate and magnesium these beans supply. Folate helps lower levels of homocysteine, an amino acid that is an intermediate product in an important metabolic process called the methylation cycle. Elevated blood levels of homocysteine are an independent risk factor for heart attack, stroke, or peripheral vascular disease, and are found in between 20-40% of patients with heart disease. It has been estimated that consumption of 100% of the daily value (DV) of folate would, by itself, reduce the number of heart attacks suffered by Americans each year by 10%. Just one cup of cooked garbanzo beans provides 70.5% of the DV for folate.

Garbanzos' supply of magnesium puts yet another plus in the column of its beneficial cardiovascular effects. Magnesium is Nature's own calcium channel blocker. When enough magnesium is around, veins and arteries breathe a sigh of relief and relax, which lessens resistance and improves the flow of blood, oxygen and nutrients throughout the body. Studies show that a deficiency of magnesium is not only associated with heart attack but that immediately following a heart attack, lack of sufficient magnesium promotes free radical injury to the heart. Want to literally keep your heart happy? Eat garbanzos.

For even more cardio-protection, team garbanzo beans with garlic or turmeric:

National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Level III-3 evidence shows that consuming a half to one clove of garlic daily may have a cholesterol-lowering effect of up to 9%. For a quick, tasty hummus, just combine pre-cooked garbanzos in the blender with lemon juice, olive oil, garlic and/or onion, salt and pepper to taste.

In other research, when 10 healthy volunteers consumed 500 mg of curcumin per day for 7 days, not only did their blood levels of oxidized cholesterol drop by 33%, but their total cholesterol droped 11.63% , and their HDL "good" cholesterol increased by 29%! (Soni KB, Kuttan R, Indian J Physiol Phartmacol.) Healthy sauté onions with turmeric for 2-3 minutes then add pre-cooked garbanzos and heat until warmed through.

For the most curcumin, be sure to use turmeric rather curry powder-a study analyzing curcumin content in 28 spice products described as turmeric or curry powders found that pure turmeric powder had the highest concentration of curcumin, averaging 3.14% by weight. The curry powder samples, with one exception, contained very small amounts of curcumin. (Tayyem RF, Heath DD, et al. Nutr Cancer) Practical Tip: Increase garbanzos' cardio-protective effects by spicing them with garlic, which also lowers cholesterol, and turmeric, which not only lowers LDL "bad" cholesterol, but also increases HDL "good" cholesterol. Be sure to use turmeric rather than curry powder; turmeric contains more of the protective compound, curcumin, than does curry powder.

Garbanzos Give You Energy to Burn While Stabilizing Blood Sugar

In addition to its beneficial effects on the digestive system and the heart, soluble fiber helps stabilize blood sugar levels. If you have insulin resistance, hypoglycemia or diabetes, beans like garbanzos can really help you balance blood sugar levels while providing steady, slow-burning energy. Studies of high fiber diets and blood sugar levels have shown the dramatic benefits provided by these high fiber foods. Researchers compared two groups of people with type 2 diabetes who were fed different amounts of high fiber foods. One group ate the standard American Diabetic diet, which contains 24 grams of fiber/day, while the other group ate a diet containing 50 grams of fiber/day. Those who ate the diet higher in fiber had lower levels of both plasma glucose (blood sugar) and insulin (the hormone that helps blood sugar get into cells). The high fiber group also reduced their total cholesterol by nearly 7%, their triglyceride levels by 10.2% and their VLDL (Very Low Density Lipoprotein--the most dangerous form of cholesterol)levels by 12.5%.

Iron for Energy

In addition to providing slow burning complex carbohydrates, garbanzos can increase your energy by helping to replenish your iron stores. Particularly for menstruating women, who are more at risk for iron deficiency, boosting iron stores with garbanzos is a good idea--especially because, unlike red meat, another source of iron, garbanzos are low in calories and virtually fat-free. Iron is an integral component of hemoglobin, which transports oxygen from the lungs to all body cells, and is also part of key enzyme systems for energy production and metabolism. And remember: If you're pregnant or lactating, your needs for iron increase. Growing children and adolescents also have increased needs for iron.

Manganese for Energy Production and Antioxidant Defense

Garbanzos are an excellent source of the trace mineral manganese, which is an essential cofactor in a number of enzymes important in energy production and antioxidant defenses. For example, the key oxidative enzyme superoxide dismutase, which disarms free radicals produced within the mitochondria (the energy production factories within our cells), requires manganese. Just one cup of garbanzo beans supplies 84.5% of the DV for this very important trace mineral.

Protein Power Plus

Maori culture tour - Hangi

An wonderful evening. Really lucky to have the chance to experience the hospitality provided by a group of local maori artists. They have wonderful voices, and superb waving skills, not to mention about the unique tattoo pattern.

This will be a very long post!

That evening, we are all here for the hangi, which is a type of food that is cook in the Maori people way. Using the steam, buried the food underneath the soil and cook it, something similiar to "beggar's chicken" <- hak yi kai ah - it took around 2 and a half hour to heat up the stone beneath and dont know how long to cook it. This will be the longest post lots of picture ! cant decide which to upload ! and some must see musical performance by our host ! really really amazing voice.

Wanganui air port

In a fine morning, Me and my housemate went cycling for the morning kick-start. We cycle from the center of the town, all the way to air-port the estimate distance is like 12km only. On the way we saw cow and sheep, the biggest challenge is to cycle up hill like 1 km distance.

On our way to airport, while waiting for my housemate to snap pictures of the sheep and cows, I stand infront of a field, then ! suddenly the horse just walk towards me making 'geerr..gerr' noise which scare me abit at first. It is actually a very friendly horse.

While browsing through my folder, I found 2 stop motion video that I made for fun like 2 years ago ? In my room, sitting infront of my table doing nothing and finally lifting up a camera starts capturing pictures and so....

This one was really hard, got no tripod, for like 40mins maybe ? one hand holding a camare and another hand was like drawing. keep shaking and shaking and dont know what to draw on the paper.

I like this one as the motion are smoother.

National Geographic Magazine - Oldies version

It's Saturday again, morning market again. As usual cant wake up at the time I planned and always a rush during the visit to morning market. One of my friend manage to rent a place in morning market to sell her handmade stuffs, pretty cool stuff but I think its a little bit too expensive.

On my way to morning market, I went to the garage sales to look for treasures. I found some really old national geographic magazine, one of the magazine caught my attention, deeply, a 1988, hologram ( I think this is what it is called.) book cover magazine.

It is really a cool book. Also I have bought a 1964 and a 1956 national geographic issue.

It is very interesting to flip through the magazine as you can really see what is going on at that time. The fashion is totally different, the way they design the books are mainly using illustration. I found something that is particularly interesting which is the Kodak's advertisement. It has a few lenses quite huge and very laser gun looking( like what you see in cartoon) camera. You can somehow see how the culture evolve into what it is right now.

I also thought it would be nice if you send a gift for your mom or friends a book that are published on their birth-date so that they could see how is was like at the year of their birth. It would be really cool!

Origin Of Project - GFM

GFM, also stand for gold fish man. A term in cantonese which has a story. Long long time ago there was a pervert who invite girls and bring them to catch the gold fish and then.......not so sure about how the story goes if you know the full story, tell me.

The idea of project gfm came from an ambitious conversation between two silly person, in a fine day walking around 1U shopping mall. We think big we talk big but we do nothing at the end. Have thoughts for lots and lots of plan about it but too lazy to even produce one oh man!

It was totally random, a hobby, to create project gfm.

It all started out from a sketch from paper, a work of prank , to make fun of a good perverti friend of mine in high school. He has such unique facial shape that push me to draw his facial impression down on a piece of paper! drawn it, like it, love it, use it. Ever since, the prank become a part for my design works.

Its all thanks to him, one of my best bud in high school, for keep complaining and scoldings and make me want to produce more and more of his image, even made icon for MSN instant msger to show him , his reaction always make me laugh off my jaws..

Wanganui have about 46 thousand of population, a lovely little town with alot of heritage buildings. Great scenery, such as the famous Wanganui river, you can get a superb overview of the town when you walk up to the tower on top of the durial hill.

This is where Wanganui located, On the North Island of New Zealand.

The River City stands proudly at the mouth of one of New Zealand’s great historic waterways.

Wanganui is a delightful provincial centre 2.5 hours drive from Wellington and 6 hours from Auckland. Its 46,000 residents enjoy a laidback lifestyle and their civic pride is evident in the city’s restored colonial building and beautiful parks and gardens.

For the visitor it is well worth the effort of diverting from SH.1 and becoming immersed in the history, culture and ethos of this pleasant riverside city. It was one of the first towns to be established on the New Zealand coast and an important hub of early commerce. The 329km Whanganui River (note that the river and national park carry an aspirate ‘h’) was part of the main ‘highway’ from Wellington to Auckland in colonial times and missionaries and travellers often took two weeks to complete the arduous journey.

Wanganui is a rich amalgam of both Maori and European cultures. The museum and art galleries are amongst the best in New Zealand and the central city shopping areas have been revitalised in recent years in keeping with the colourful colonial past. Kerbside gardens, gaslights, wrought iron seats, palm and plane trees and hanging flower baskets, decorate the main thoroughfare, Victoria Avenue. The restorations are beautifully done and the whole floral effect in summer is blooming marvellous.

The heritage theme extends to cafes, specialty shops, an art deco cinema and English style pubs. Wanganui is so compact that you can easily walk to most attractions including Trafalgar Square Shopping Centre, Taupo Quay and the Queen’s Park and Cook’s Gardens. Art and craft outlets are prolific and fine dining and entertainment are readily available.

Altogether Wanganui is a fascinating amalgam of old river heritage and modern lifestyle without the pressures of big city bustle. As the city’s slogan says ‘Well worth the journey.’

Last few weeks ago , we decided to team up and cook some Philippine delights. As part of the cooking team, I ran out to catch the "miss wanganui competition" with tommy, yup we ran there with all our saliva dripping all over and then foong chase us up with her camera. It was a terrible trip for me during my trip to Palmerston north yesterday. I got too less sleep due to working late night on my t-shirt design. Everyone turns into shopping spree mode once they saw the shopping are. "OH FInally theres a shopping mall !!" someone shouted. Almost the entire day walking around and buy stuff. I got myself a t-shirt for 15$ well, thats the atleast affordable items for me. I should post up some of the pictures that we took during that t rip someother time as I am now half way writting an essay for my english class on the next tuesday. Oh MAN !! Essay man !! I didnt move my hand and fingers to write essay on paper with PEN since 4 years ago man !maybe more than that man !! 300 words is like sooo soo osoo sooo very very tough things to do for me. oh man !! crackin brain juicy man !

After having today's lunch at thai house restaurent. During the road back home, visited some shops. I bought 2 game for 15$ man ! original game man. Thou is quite old but at least my laptop can run them. The game i bought was GTA san andreas 10$ with a beutifully designed booklet and spore for 5$ cheaper than you buy pirated games in malaysia.

Oh yeah.Ive also experianced what it is like to be in earthquake. Damn the window shakes like mad and I was like staring at the blank wondering who is dancing outside of my door and make my room shaky. As it is only a small shake measured 4.1 but it shake twice in a night man. I really thought someone is dancing and jumping outside my room =.= so zar dao.

Orientation Day In Taopu Quey

After some struggle to get away from the bed. We walk to taopu quey for the traditional maori welcoming ceremony thingie. We move in teams. the studens on a side and the teachers and the staffs on the other side. Then, theres alot screaming with some unknown maori language which I dont understand at all. shout shout shout...

Here comes the tea break session, thats what Im waiting for...FOOD! they've prepared us with some juices and fruits, theres sausages and candy flow and stuffs. We walk around UCOL and grab info and some goodies. Then, saw something interesting which is the giant version of foosball , human foosball baby !

Cant stand to just watching outside of it ! and so..

We won 3 games in a row and being defeated before the rain pours. This will be the first time I am all sweating in New zealand.

Later that, We joined the fear factor competition which 4 in one team.

this is what Ive got to drink, sour- spicy raw egg drink..cant really swallow the drink Tommy has drank most of it and I down the egg in my mouth ! and of course I didnt really down it to my stomach , I walk away quietly to throw in out in the toilet !

Without much trouble except delayed and cancellation of flight from Auckland to Wanganui. Took me around or more than 20hours (including all the delays and waiting times) and finally I set my foot on the land of New Zealand.

Arrived here for like a week. Wanganui is a lovely and peaceful little town with friendly people. Got to get used with the "hello how are you" every time when we see each other. Ive got a very tiny room in Close Quarters ( 3 times smaller compare with my room back in msia ) which located in the central of Wanganui. Had bbq dinner, yesterday, the owner pays the bill. She is Jane a really lovely and sweet person. And today's dinner is on her too, domino pizza ! and some bbq left overs. Bbq here quite differnt compare with msia. We have so much meat here and so much salad. And I ate so much lambs and steaks.. oh damn ! my house mates are really some great bbq cooker!

Tommorow its the traditional dance welcoming for us the overseas student.

Upon posting this post. I am yet still lost and found no direction just yet. Been trying to fix the blog's appearance since all the bg pictures, table pics, are gone caused by the termination of service from the free hosting space I've registered earlier. Oh hey, its been awhile since I again, starts touching the blog again.

Lets see, nothing much has happened , things goes and comes as usual : daily routine, working, playing games, hanging out, thought-of-a-change-yet-no action, day dreaming, "snaking around" while at work, hey for this I am quite proud of myself as I am getting pro and pro'er man ! no joke weh !. Until then, the whole process, procedures, rules, blabla.. the whole thing, everything, pieces of mind puzzles, seems to be the period of self realization. Here I go, go back to the foundation year's lesson - self realization.

Started off as one who freshly graduated, knowing nothing or acting knowing nothing. Going through the stage of kena scold, receiving briefs/orders/directions, then work as been told, making sure no mistakes to be made. I somehow realized that ....the..."how things works" in general. As in ? how the money comes and goes, how the political influences influent people, how the smart way of stressing one for its better performance, how the business runs. The dark side and the bright side , not so much but atleast I get the nut shells image of it.

Time, really does change things, lots of things. By looking around, friends. Close friends ? more or less are gone in pieces, lost, as if it flows into the black holes and dissapeared , like that. Friendship, never will be ..yes long term, but never a long lasting like the stainless heavy duty door lock at your main entrance. Unless you polish them. Maintain it. But perhaps sometimes..distance adds distance adds add....adds..... as far as it possibly reaches the blackhole, thats not hard in fact easily ? Sounds like something happens on me ? no la, but maybe but no la, just got the feeling, maybe from daily observation from the others gua.

If theres something goes wrong or its broke, it meant to be repaired in the pre-set period and if you did not do the correct measurement in order to fix things up just anything , not just relationship, not just in doing works, Attitude, personallity, thoughts, decisions. But in fact, who cares if I want to be who I am ? You care ? HAHA...

Working life sucks. Seriously, one needs passion and like in doing what they're doing in order to really enjoy the .. I would say the "beginning of stepping into the working life". I saw some who are around me, so passionate and enjoying what they're doing. In fact, as worries does not exist in my dictionary as far as I come to recent stage of life. I wonder, If I were to stay at the current shape, what would happens in the near future ? human life span's short. And day by day passes really quick, eye blinking fast. Today's sunday and, heyy I blinked only a few seconds, Im at the next week's sunday. Is just too fast. Time in a day seems to get short and shorter, fast and faster passing by, come and goes really fast especially in working. Somehow, I felt that I am now lost of direction, and I guess this is the same for some people that is at the life stage as mine. Working seems like ...wasting time ? in some way for me its yes and its no.

Been trying to relax self and often drunk myself with virtual worlds. First of, Ive got wii nintendo which I get using my few months "hard waiting-time-to-past" earnings. Its the first item I bought using my own earning. And realized that, I don't really get addicted with these console games. Instead, I am almost addicted to cabal once again after the introduction of Botting. Why ?I might say , one needs communications. We're always try to stay connected with people. The 1st thing you do now when you switch on your pc might goes on clicking the 'connect to streamyx' icon. following by Msn messenger or whatever instant messenger. Then you either start working or simply browsing and stay connected with people. Bed time. I wonder how many person now still turn off their mobile phone before they get to bed ?? and how many person will go out from their living place without a mobile phone and walk like a normal person. What the hell am I blogging anyway.

Money money hard to earn , easy to spend. Price pricey fast to increase, wallet gets thin and thinner. Petrol prices doubled, wallet are single and now become half. Later on electricity. bla bla bla and bla bla bla. omg. Really, without family support for some people and for myself. Life would have been like hell.

9 in the morning, "A person who has power over you is going to make what you consider to be a very bad decision today" woke me up by slamming my mosquito net.Opened my eye then it closed automatically, struggle hard enough to make my body move and for some minutes Im finally out of bed, rush down the staircase and found myself alone standing at the entrance looking to nowhere, searching for the car that "THE person who has power over you is going to make what you consider to be a very bad decision today".

After, and again inputing alot and lots of noises into my ears by "THE person who has power over you is going to make what you consider to be a very bad decision today" Then, had wantan mee as breakfast. And I conclude the whole day of mine was ..waiting...and waiting...and waiting... for "THE OTHER person who has power over you is going to make what you consider to be a very bad decision today". Played zelda twilight princess for the whole afternoon while waiting for the signal to go. Then I received a msg, where it was a signal that ask me to go to chee cheong kai.

For all the while, the only way I use to get to chee cheong kai was either LRT or Bus. THen I reply "THE OTHER person who has power over you is going to make what you consider to be a very bad decision today". Lets continue with zelda. Was able to get out of the mazed-like-what-the-fuck-!? dungeon. Then I called the "THE OTHER person who has power over you is going to make what you consider to be a very bad decision today" .Numerous of calls Ive made, no answer. Followed by numerous of msgs but no reply.

While waiting, my Zelda's character defeated the dragon boney flying bull maybe tauren's head, and proceed to the next mission. Ah, and finally , a real , super, cold, freezing , no content, reply from "THE OTHER person who has power over you is going to make what you consider to be a very bad decision today" . Mun Jun called me then, wants to date me out for the little sweet small pool game gathering and too bad, I told him I'm waiting for "THE OTHER person who has power over you is going to make what you consider to be a very bad decision today" so, considering myself, again FFK ppl.

Later that , I get no updates or information from "THE OTHER person who has power over you is going to make what you consider to be a very bad decision today" which makes my day bad and mentally disturbed. Its ok but nevermind. Then I called "THE OTHER person who has power over you is going to make what you consider to be a very bad decision today" once again. cold reply. as usual. wtf ??. later that no msgs or calls, the last thing is that I know "THE OTHER person who has power over you is going to make what you consider to be a very bad decision today" is at home and gone to bed. WTF ???

Okay, fine. Here I re-mood myself, settle down and grabed the wii controller then starts the Zelda adventures again. No more than 10 mins "THE person who has power over you is going to make what you consider to be a very bad decision today" came and conquer my beloved lcd screen T.T Lying on bed then, arghhh !! so boring !!what a day !! somehow the prediction of pieces of the day is kind of true.

Conclusion : my eye sight is getting worst and im worried but im aint controlling myself still.

Liu Li Gong Fang's glass art exhibition

As Im celebrating mothers day at pavillion, after dining in "dian tian hill" restaurant something spelled that way, we went for shopping.

As I leave the group and walk around, I saw Liuligong's exhibition. Liuli was a superb glass artist, the art that been displayed in the exhibition was interesting. My first impression was, " oh okay, some glassy flowers lo, oh very nice looking woh" and then follows by " omg, so expensive meh !! ". Heard the people around discussing how nice was the flower and their price, quite a large size and it worth quite a large bucks like around rm200k or so. I was able to stay there only for awhile as the queen has call for the "return home" order . thus, only able to snapped a few of them with my lousy handphone's camera. they're pretty amazing + interesting anyway. One of my favorite art pieces in the exhibition was the one that look like water dripping one the glass plate . interesting.

About 2 we reached sharethon hotel in subang jaya. I and Foong were running around the hotel, searching up and down for where we should register ourselves. We then ran up a floor and saw lots of other graduates wearing robes with the squarish hat, looking fantastic and everyone looks like a professor. Being told that we should register at the other place, we then head toward the register counter at the other end. Registered, wore the robe, took pictures and then the whole batch of people line up infront the hall.

4.40, all of us was guided by the staff to walk on the red carpet into the hall, instant feeling, "WOW" and now I know how those wedding couples feel when they are walking into the hall. Sit on the chair waiting for our name to be called.

One by one we walk up the stage and receive our medal. Then the photo session begins, and the dinner starts at around 6.

The Last Day

It was my last day of working at the current company on Friday. It was, too my last day before the graduation ceremony. And now, few hours more, I will be wearing the huge robe and the square professor hat to be ready to take my diploma cert.

As its my last day, my boss bring us to shanmai shushi for lunch as a farewell party for me. About my boss hes one of the best boss Ive ever encounter or heard so far. A little bit of not wanting to leave the company, anyway decision has been made. Oo Hey, now I'm outta working life again ! a little more time to drag until I truely and really step into the working life damn ! kind of dont like it but, what else can you do if you need money for survival? prostituting ? I am sure that Ill be hungry to death before my ass is .... lets skip this part.

Tomorrow will be a big day for batch511 as we are having our graduation ceremony. Through out the weeks before, people started to ask and seek, " Eh ! buy coat already ah ??", "Eh! wear what color ah ?", "Har ! so expensive la one coat how to buy?", "Eh ! what time go ah ?". With the Q&A all round my ear,eye and mouth. And I am now siting right infront of the pc and " Hey you are not prepared at all for tomorrow's big day man !" to myself. Ah ! who cares anyway, its just a ceremony.

Hein's 21th party

It's april 23, its wednesday and its hein hong's 21th birthday! He was and is one of the(eventhough we rarely meet up these days, but still I aclaim him as my)great buddy now and in the back days at secondary.

Again, its been all "free" day at office, watching youtubes, looking at website that rick shares with me, struggling to pass the time of 8 hours(working hour 9-5.30) well, maybe I should use the word enjoy. 'Mou gang mou him, yao dou 5.30.' its time to get my butt off my office's chair. Instead of using the usual puchong road, I took the other way that I thought it can avoid the traffic. Who knows..ok , and then reached Arthur's house.

Begs him to let me take bath in his bathroom, later that, after the shower lying down on his second floor's living room where theres one set of nice and comfortable sofa, a 64 inch screen(or larger) and the fucking beutiful PS3. Damn ! great graphics, and even the interactive! theres one part where you need to move the joystick, not the button but the whole joystick in order to balance up the character.

Around 730 we then get our butt of the nice and soft sofa and head to hein's place. Skip all the greeting parts and to the food. .

Theres 4 station:
1. The grilling station 2. Sushi shashimi 3. Rice and noodle 4. Drinks.

1.Grill lamb, sweet corn, prawn, sausages, tomyam fish fillet comes in small pieces. <- Goodness omg.

2.Shashimi Salmon comes in thick pieces fresh and sweet tasting, Few kind of Osyters, Fruit table, prawn on ice.

3.Chicken rice, noodle, mee hun, all sorts.

4.One huge ice box of liquor from beer to wine to whisky, soft drinks and mineral water.

Get to meet up long-time-no-see-friends and chit chat the hell out of the night. Skip the few hours to finally, the birthday cake! sang songs, and hey ! that cake is as huge as half of my body! in a key shape. Huraayy and yayyy yay. Photo session! After saying byebye to the main character of the night and long-time-no-see friend. Skip the part how Pendek Kimsun was fooled by, then we went for another yamcha session. Thats a night of fun, stomach filling night.

Its been awhile since the last time I do these blogging stuff. Here I start it once again! Some recent updates for myself, Happily and officially leaving Toa on Jan 08, receive calls for jobs interviews. Yep, later that on Feb 08 started my 1st step into the working life.

Taaa Dangg ! throw letter !
its like a trend where everyone seems to be not satisfied/comfortable with their current jobs then started to throw letter to our bosses in their face .. this leaving and that leaving .. na na na naa. Two months working in kelana jaya and myself, finally decided to follow the trend.

In the pass weeks, its been quite a suffer to me as I am kind of... 'free'. But thats good, as I can really go into research on real new works and site done by other professionals.
In this post I'd like to share the new addiction of mine during all the free time I had.

Travian is a browser game featuring a world with thousands of other real players. One begins the game acting as a chief of a tiny village.

Its a text based web game, where you own a village that you will have to build things up, expending your resources : lumber , clay, crops, iron. for infrastructures like the main building hall, later that cranny to barrack, build up an army and start raiding party conquer and attack.
Something like utopia. Worth a try it you'd like something else to fill up your empty slot of the day.
